Just getting started using a computer?
Computer Magic Training offers Operating
Systems classes that address the fundamentals of using the Windows operating systems. These classes give you the knowledge and experience you’ll need to get
the most out of any Windows Level One class. No prior computer experience is required for Computer Basics classes. If you are already a basic computer user and are able to use the Internet and and any email application, you are most likely ready for a Windows Level 1 class.
LEVEL ONE:
Are you ready for a Level One class?
If you have little or no experience
using a Macintosh or Windows-based computer, you probably should take an Operating Systems class
before taking a Level One class for a specific application (such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
FileMaker Pro, for example).
Level One classes assume you are familiar with basic
computer and operating system functionality. You’ll want to be sure you have basic Operating System skills
and knowledge before taking a Level One course. If you’re not sure that you meet the Level One prerequisites,
take the appropriate Operating Systems Skills Assessment Test.

If you can confidently answer YES to at least 12 of
the 15 questions, you’re probably ready to take a Level One course. If not, complete the appropriate Operating
System course before attending your first Level One class.
